Spotlight On: The Red Wagon in Golden

Today our spotlight is on The Red Wagon in Golden, Colorado. The store is open for business!

Red Wagon is a gift shop located in the heart of historic downtown Golden. They sell local handmade treasures, toys, gifts, garden decor and souvenirs. It's an eclectic mix of treasures for the home and garden! They carry a great selection of bike-related gifts and clothing, as well as a large children's section with delightful toys and adorable clothing. 

Susan Lusk, owner of the Red Wagon, works hard to keep the selection new and exciting. Their ever-increasing product mix includes many locally made items, such as Colorado Caliber t-shirts and hoodies; Magic Fairy Candles; Vital Bike screen printed onesies; pint glasses; coffee mugs; aprons; sweatshirts; and handmade cribbage boards!

The Red Wagon is taking steps to make sure customers and emloyees stay safe during the Coronavirus pandemic. Susan said, "We are dedicated to keeping our staff safe and customers safe!"

Here are a few of the things the Red Wagon staff is doing:

1) Sanitizing pens regularly
2) Sanitizing the cash register and credit card machine regularly
3) Keeping hand sanitizer available at the counter at all times
4) Cleaning the store regularly
5) Keeping both doors (front and back) open
6) Handling credit cards with disinfectant wipes
7) Wearing face masks

The Colorado Adventure wants to encourage you to SHOP SMALL this summer. Small business are the backbone of our economy and it is vital that we support them as they struggle to cope with the new realities and obstacles left for them to face in the wake of the Coronovirus pandemic.
