The Arkansas River offers 103 miles of Gold Medal fishing waters starting approximately seven miles south of Sugar Loafin’.
There are also six alpine lakes within 15 minutes of Sugar Loafin’ that are great for fishing. All of them are accessible via paved roads!
There are hundreds of miles of trails and 4x4 roads in the area.
Leadville is ATV friendly, which means that you can ride your ATV or side-by-side on city and county roads (as long as you’re a licensed driver). Ride from Sugar Loafin’ and explore the high country!
