Sugar Loafin’ is a family-owned campground that offers easy access to all that Leadville has to offer. Amenities include full hookup RV sites, tent sites under shady pine trees and a nightly ice cream social!

Did you know that Mosquito Pass is the highest drivable pass in the United States? It’s not for sissies and is only open during the summer. But if you’re an adventurer at heart, it may be for you!
Top of the Rockies Scenic Byway and Collegiate Peaks Scenic Byway are both easy drives from Sugar Loafin’ Campground! Both routes offer exquisite scenery.
The Arkansas River offers 103 miles of Gold Medal fishing waters starting approximately seven miles south of Sugar Loafin’.
There are also six alpine lakes within 15 minutes of Sugar Loafin’ that are great for fishing. All of them are accessible via paved roads!
There are hundreds of miles of trails and 4x4 roads in the area.
Leadville is ATV friendly, which means that you can ride your ATV or side-by-side on city and county roads (as long as you’re a licensed driver). Ride from Sugar Loafin’ and explore the high country!
